SEYMASTIK complies with the requirements of the UNI EN 12004 standard.

SEYMASTIK is ready to use and comes in the form of a trowelable paste with no vertical slip and extended open time. SEYMASTIK adheres through evaporation of the water contained in it, until it reaches considerable flexibility and excellent bonding force, which resists vibrations and deformations of building materials.

important warnings

  • Do not add aggregates, binders (lime, cement, plaster, etc.) or water.
  • Do not apply on damp surfaces or surfaces subject to rising damp or pushing dampness.
  • Tile sizes up to 45x45 cm are allowed.
  • The life time of the mix depends significantly on the ambient temperature.
  • Laying on heated screeds must be carried out after the preheating cycle.
  • The product is water dispersion based and hardening occurs through loss of water. Check that the substrate is absorbent enough to allow the adhesive to dry.
  • Do not use the product: for the laying of non-absorbent tiles on non-absorbent substrates, and for overlaying ceramics, in outdoor environments or in continuous contact with water such as tanks or swimming pools.
  • Does not withstand freezing: transport and store the product at temperatures of not less than +5 °C.
  • For a correct use of the product, consult in advance the UNI 11493 standard.
