EPOSEY 3.10 complies with the requirements of the UNI EN 13888 - EN 12004 standards.

EPOSEY is a two-component acid-resistant epoxy mortar for laying and grouting all types of ceramic tiles and glass mosaics on floors and walls, indoors and outdoors, with joints of 3 to 10 mm on the wall and at least 3 mm on the floor. Suitable for surfaces exposed to contact with aggressive chemicals in hospitals, workshops, dairies, slaughterhouses, food industries in general, swimming pools or pools containing spa or brackish water.

Use the felt sponge EPOSEY FELTRO to remove and clean the product.

important warnings

  • Do not add aggregates, binders (lime, cement, plaster, etc.),water or solvents to the product.
  • Do not apply on damp surfaces or surfaces subject to rising damp.
  • The life time of the mix depends significantly on the ambient temperature.
  • Over time, due to UV rays, the white colour tends to change to ivory.
  • Some tiles (e.g. polished porcelain stoneware) natural stones, have microporosity and surface roughness that can cause stains and make cleaning very difficult. In such cases, perform preliminary application tests and avoid using contrasting or too dark colours.
  • For use in continuous service, such as in tanks, it is necessary to consult the table of chemical resistances: the grouting should have an excellent resistance to the aggressive substance after 28 days.
  • Thin ceramic tiles obtained through compacting and with wood effect structured surfaces, may have problems in the removal of halos, it is recommended to perform a preventive test.
  • The product cannot be used for grouting Tuscan terracotta.
  • Does not withstand freezing: transport and store the product at temperatures of not less than +5 °C.
  • For a correct use of the product, consult in advance the UNI 11493 standard
