TIXOSEY complies with the requirements of the UNI EN 12004 standard.

TIXOSEY, mixed with the correct amount of water, gives rise to a thixotropic mixture with high adhesive power and no vertical slip. It is used to lay ceramic tiles (even diagonally) from top to bottom without the use of spacers.

important warnings

  • Strictly follow the indicated water dosage.
  • Do not add aggregates or binders (lime, cement, plaster, etc.) or additives (setting accelerators, thinners, etc.) to the product.
  • For overlaying and heated screeds use tiles up to 900 cm2.
  • The open time of the adhesive under normal environmental conditions is about 30 minutes. In the case of particularly absorbent screeds, beating sun, wind, high temperatures, the time can be reduced to a few minutes.
  • Protect the laid coverings from washout or rain for 24 hours and from frost or beating sun for five days after laying.
  • Do not use on concrete subject to intense shrinkage or on walls or floors subject to movement or vibration.
  • For a correct use of the product, consult in advance the UNI 11493 standard.
